Digital Project Manager

The Digital Project Manager position seeks a middle ground between fluid, process-driven software project management and the intricacies of very human-focused client management. 

The Digital Project Manager focuses primarily on new & long standing maintenance relationships as a member of our production team. You will lead and manage client engagements and you'll be responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget completion of deliverables. In addition, you’ll be:

  • Supporting and driving clients vision for new and/or existing digital products 
  • Maintaining documentation and communications to execute on the Scope, Time, Budget and Quality of your assigned projects
  • Collaborating across teams including project management, development, design and QA on gathering requirements, defining scope and resources, generating estimations, ticketing requirements, facilitating progress of design, development and supporting QA
  • Maintaining internal time tracking systems, invoicing and creating client burndowns
  • Supporting Senior Project Managers to assist large-scale projects including, but not limited to, tasks such as project plan documentation, client status updates, meeting coordination, ticket writing, client feedback intake, quality assurance testing

If you’re comfortable owning small to mid-size digital projects as well as maintenance of existing client projects , but are excited about the learning opportunities that can come from supporting senior technical producers and product managers with large complex projects, this is the position for you. 

What we’re looking for in a Digital Project Manager:

  • 2 - 5 years experience in a client-facing digital agency setting owning digital projects at all stages of the project lifecycle from planning to execution and delivery. 

Your experience should include:

  • Experience building or supporting maintenance (enhancements and/or bug fixes) of CMS or Ecommerce websites i.e. Wordpress, Shopify, Magento
  • Communicating and collaborating directly with internal and external stakeholders i.e. Clients, Designers and Developers on multiple (3+) concurrent projects at varying stages of the project lifecycle
  • Writing project planning documentation, draft proposals and collaborating with stakeholders to write project requirements and generate estimations.
  • Contributing to the management and tracking of projects according to agreed-upon scope, timing and budgets. Managing timelines, agendas, and status updates.
  • Supporting Quality Assurance execution on project deliverables and process communicated are adhered to across all Departments - escalating issues of concern
  • Use of Project Management Systems i.e. Jira, Confluence and ensuring internal tracking systems are kept up to date on all assigned projects
  • Great written and verbal communication; Decision making skills; Time Management, self organized.
